| St. James Church, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. |
| As a young boy, age about 10, Reg was evacuated from London to the Isle of Wight for a while during WW1 - this poem is based on those memories. He was a choirboy at St James Church, Yarmouth which was built circe 1614. Admiral Holmes was Governor of the Isle of Wight in the late 17th Century. The statue he refers to was actually of King Louis XlV not Napoleon and it happened about a hundred years before Napoleon's time but it's close enough and not bad for a ten year old's memory ! |

| Carolyn, my (Terry's) wife, had about half of one
kidney still working

kidney transplants - the first donated by her
brother Phil and later the second donated by her
best friend Michelle. I (Terry) wrote this poem
soon after meeting Carolyn realizing her
incredible inner strength and positive attitude to
life which has made her an inspiration to many. |
